I've been working on this painting in ArtRage Studio, studying the work of an artist called Erik D Martin. I really like the crude way he uses colour to form shapes.

I'm not satisfied that i quite captured the complexity of the texturing, but there's room to learn...

To distract myself from real work, i modelled a small island for a friends film concept, it had to be a small round island with a palm on it!
